Celebration of Life & Memorial Service
We are honored to offer our church as a place for memorial and celebration of life services. Our desire is to serve families with care, dignity, and clarity during this important time. We understand that planning a memorial service comes during a deeply emotional season. Our goal is to make this process as simple and supportive as possible while providing a peaceful space to honor your loved one.
What We Provide
Our facility is available for services and small receptions, depending on availability.
Use of our space may include:
- Sanctuary for the service
- Basic audio/visual support
- Lobby or designated area for gathering or reception
- On-site staff member for facility access
Facility Use & Support Use of the sanctuary and facility space may be provided at no cost for the service itself, depending on the nature of the request and relationship to the church (Member or Non-Member)
Ministry Support To help serve families well, additional ministry support may be included based on your needs, such as:
- Pastor or officiant support
- Worship leadership (if music is included)
- Audio/visual team support
A ministry support fee may apply to help cover staffing, preparation, and service participation. Please review the suggested honorarium list:
Decorations Families are welcome to bring simple decorations.
- Must be temporary and non-damaging
- No nails, screws, staples, or adhesives on walls (unless approved)
- No open flames (battery candles welcome)
- All setup and cleanup must occur within reserved time
Food & Reception
- Outside food and catering are welcome
- Kitchen use is limited to refrigeration and staging only
- No cooking on-site
- All food and supplies must be cleaned up the same day
Event Coordinator To help ensure the service runs smoothly and respectfully, we ask that families identify one primary point of contact for the event.
This person may be a family member or someone assisting the family, and will help with:
- Communicating day - of needs
- Overseeing decorations and setup
- Coordinating food or reception details
- Assisting with cleanup at the end of the reserved time
Our church staff will provide facility access and support, but this individual helps serve as the main connection for family-related logistics during the event.
