Easter Lilies and Azaleas Available
 You may purchase an Easter lily and/or azalea plant in honor of or memory of a loved one. Easter lilies are $7 and azaleas are $8. Please contact the church office if you wish to purchase an Easter plant. The flowers will decorate our sanctuary during the Easter season, and may be picked up after the 11:30 a.m. worship service on Easter Sunday.

Save the Date - The Ladies Tea
The Ladies Tea will be held on Saturday, May 1 at 11:30 a.m. at the church. Carol LeBeau, #1 TV news anchor in Southern California for 30 years and currently is a health advocate for Palomar-Pomerado Health in San Diego, will be the featured guest speaker along with Sylvia Lange, who has toured and performed with such Christian greats as Sandi Patti and renowned Bible teacher, Beth Moore. Tickets will go on sale after Easter.

LCS 7th Annual Art Show & Auction
Friday, March 19 at 7:00 p.m. Lighthouse Christian School is excited to announce our 7th Annual Art & Auction fund raising event. This year's theme is "God and Our Country". We celebrate our Lord and the men and women who serve in the armed forces to protect His people and our country. Come see the beautiful displays of the children's art and a Silent Auction and Live Auction. Some of the items to bid on are; Week of Surf Camp ($250), Wheel of Fortune VIP package, Kidscraft table & chairs ($150), and many Gift Certificates. Join us for an evening of fun, fellowship and excitement. Invitations are available at the table on the south entrance to the church. There will be a dessert buffet.

Audio/Visual Ministry
If you enjoy working behind the scenes or have an ear for sound, we need you! Volunteers are very much needed in all church worship services: 8:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 11:30 a.m., to operate the video and/or audio equipment. Training is available. If you are willing to serve in this important ministry, please stop by the Audio/Visual booth before or after worship services at the back of the sanctuary for more information. We would like to meet you!

New Adult Sunday School Bible Study
The Gospel of John - Sundays, 11:30 a.m. in Room 7. This study is lead by Alvis Floyd. The Apostle John, "the disciple whom Jesus loved" wrote this Gospel and knew Jewish life well and Jewish customs. John highlights the life of Jesus.

Lighthouse Basics 101
Sun., Mar. 21 at 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. in Rooms 5 & 6. All visitors, new members and regular attenders are invited to attend our Lighthouse Basics 101 class. This free one-afternoon class is designed to share our basic beliefs, background, and ministries with those who would like to learn more about Lighthouse Christian Church, and is required to complete church membership. Free pizza lunch at 1:00 p.m., and free childcare is available at 2:00 p.m. Register via the Response Form in Sunday's Worship Program on the back and place in the offering plate when passed.

Broadcast Ministry Packager Needed
Needed is a team member with computer experience to produce the completed Sunday sermons onto a DVD and deliver to KOCT televison station in Oceanside for our weekly broadcast on public TV. Duties to include downloading finished sermons onto DVD, and printing DVD jackets. Also, filling weekly DVD and CD orders purchased at our Hospitality desk. Approximate time is 2-3 hours weekly. Home Group Studies
Home Group Studies help develop a relationship with God and build relationships with other church members. This is a time for exploring God's Word, fellowship and refreshments in a casual home setting. New Home Group topics and sign up sheets are posted on the bulletin board in the church foyer.

'Acquire the Fire' - Youth Conference
 More than a great worship, more than a concert, more than great talks with God on March 19 - 20th, 2010. "Acquire the Fire" is 27 hours set apart for a life-transforming experience with Christ. "Acquire the Fire" will be held in San Diego and the cost is $55 per person. This could be the spark that keeps your heart burning for God. 'To Save a Life' - Christian Film showing in nearby theaters
 Attention Parents, Youth Workers and Teens: Don't miss the movie filmed in Oceanside called "To Save a Life", rated PG13, now showing in nearby theaters. "After the death of a childhood friend, a popular teen risks his social standing by reaching out to classmates who are equally shunned." Support Christian films and pray for our country's youth.
