Valentine's Banquet
Join us for our annual Valentine's Banquet on Fri., Feb. 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. We are going "Western" this year so wear a bandana and get ready to sing-a-long to some old cowboy tunes. There will be a "Showdown: cowboys vs. cowgirls": a game based on "Battle of the Sexes." You don't need a sweetheart to attend. Tickets are $10 per person. Children and childcare are free. 'Acquire the Fire' - Youth Conference
 More than a great worship, more than a concert, more than great talks with God on March 19 - 20th, 2010. "Acquire the Fire" is 27 hours set apart for a life-transforming experience with Christ. "Acquire the Fire" will be held in San Diego and the cost is $55 per person. This could be the spark that keeps your heart burning for God. Lighthouse Basics 101
All visitors, new members and regular attenders are invited to attend our Lighthouse Basics 101 class with Pastor Mike on Sunday, February 21, at 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. in Rooms 5 & 6. This free one-afternoon class is designed to share our basic beliefs, background, and ministries with those who would like to learn more about Lighthouse Christian Church, and is required to complete church membership. St. Jude Children's Hospital Trike-A-Thon
 St. Jude Children's Hospital Trike-A-Thon Feb. 25th and 26th at Lighthouse Christian School - LCS will be participating in our 3rd annual St. Jude Children's Hospital Trike-A-Thon. Check out the bulletin board for more details or contact the school office at 1-760-726-0590, ext. 14. 100% of the financial donations collected for this event go directly to St. Jude Research Hospital. Please do what you can to help us reach our goal of $2,500 this year.

Helping Hands
All women are invited to join in fellowship and service on Mon. Feb. 8th at 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. in Rooms 5 and 6. Activities include making quilts for each baby born in the Lighthouse family and for the local Pregnancy Resource center. They also collect Campbell soup coupons for redemption to support an Indian orphanage located in Show Low, Arizona. Bring your own handwork and a snack.

Shoe Box Ministries
 A big thank to all who participated in the Shoe Box Ministry. Your generosity was overwhelming. Over 100 boxes were sent. The missionaries held a party for the community children. They read the Christmas story from the Bible and then distributed the shoe boxes and candy that was donated. This was a very happy Christmas for many Mexican children.
